Below are the current cats & kittens provided by our non profit partner, The Cat Cottage and our resident cats and kittens (non adoptable).
Staff Cats
Staff Cats simply hang out in the cat lounge. They get new cats adjusted to the environment and “parent” the new kittens. Staff cats belong to employees or owners of The Alaska Cat Cafe. They are not available for adoption and do not live permanently at The Alaska Cat Cafe, they come and go as their owners see fit. The owners of staff cats provide 100% for their care and well being and all supplies, no other funds are used.
**The exception would be Nacho Tot who is currently owned by The Cat Cottage and does require outside funding.**
Nermal, (Head Cat) Male, 1 year.
Owned by the Cafe owners mother. He is her pride and joy!
Casserole (Cassie), Female, 1 Year.
One of the two first kittens (now grown) that was supposed to be adopted, but the owner fell in love and she now is a regular at The Alaska Cat Cafe.
Tux, male, 1 Year.
Owned by an employee at the next door business. Tux loves to hang at The Alaska Cat Cafe and doesn’t know any better than to LOVE the visitors.
Missile Launcher, male, 1 Year.
One of the two first kittens (now grown) that was supposed to be adopted, but the owner fell in love and he now is a regular at The Alaska Cat Cafe.
Nacho Tot, Female, Dwarf kitty, 1 Year. Vaccinated. Special needs (long term care and surgeries) Not currently adoptable.
Nacho Tot is actually “owned” by The Alaska Cat Cafe. She has undergone many medical procedures as a rare dwarf cat. She is loving and friendly with all of the guests. Nacho may require additional surgery and testing as her life continues. The Cat Cottage has committed to paying for/acquiring the funds for her medical needs. She may be adoptable in the future, but not currently.
Adoptable Cats & Kittens
The cats and kittens listed below may be adoptable, pending adoption or not quite ready for adoption. Please read the description of each one to make sure applications are currently being accepted. The you can DOWNLOAD OUR APPLICATION HERE or come into The Alaska Cat Cafe for a paid lounge visit and see all of these cuties! The adoption fee is $195 for kittens, $129 for cats 6 months+ and $99 for senior cats. Some adoptables may have specials needs or dietary requirements. Some may be bonded pairs, some may need fostering. Please read descriptions carefully.
Coralie, 8 years, Vaccinated, spayed.
Coralie is amazing , beautiful and so friendly. She doesn’t mind of cats or children. She just needs to get to know YOU! She is just a sweetheart of a girl. Coralie is very observant and cautious with new people, but really wants and deserves a furrever home.
astoria, 1 year, Vaccinated, spayed.
The shyest of the shy cats. She is in love with the owners little 9 year old sister, but no one else. She can be rehabilitated! She will bond with her owner for sure. If you can provide food, a litter box and patience, this girl will LOVE you eventually. She gets along very well with other cats and kittens, so that’s a bonus!
Handsome Ransom, 5 1/2 Years, Vaccinated, neutered, Microchipped.
Handsome has been here way too long for someone so beautiful and sweet. He had some hair growth issues but has recovered nicely, he has also been professionally groomed. He tolerates everyone and other cats. He likes a bit of independence, to come and go in whatever room her please and to snuggle when and where he chooses. He will be a great companion cat for anyone lonely and needing a friend.
Extra Hot 20oz Americano with Cream and Two Sugars. Vaccinated, spayed, Microchipped.
Extra Hot 20oz Americano with Cream and Two Sugars is a young lady (under 2) who has had a beautiful, healthy litter of kittens. She will be a great companion cat for anyone lonely and needing a friend. She likes other adult cats and kittens. She is not very responsive to her own kittens (also at the cafe). We assume she is a tired momma. Can you please love this sweet girl?
