The Alaska Cat Café exists for one purpose: to fund and support our nonprofit partner, The Cat Cottage, along with other rescue organizations we collaborate with to help find loving homes for surrendered, stray, and abandoned cats and kittens.
Every cup of coffee, every pastry, every piece of merchandise sold helps keep our doors open—but profit from the café alone is not enough to sustain the level of rescue work we do. Café revenue mainly covers overhead and staffing. Anything remaining goes straight to cat care.
We survive—and the cats survive—because of donations, donated supplies, and generous community partners.
The Cat Cottage continues to apply for grants and large-scale funding, but those are never guaranteed. Meanwhile, cats and kittens come to us with needs that simply cannot wait.
Many require extensive medical care, and often the cost of spay/neuter alone exceeds the adoption fee. The basic cost of food, litter, and core vaccines averages $250 per kitten while they wait for adoption.
Every day, around 100 visitors walk through The Alaska Cat Café. These visits make people smile—but they barely cover staff wages.
What they do provide is visibility: every visitor will see your business proudly displayed as a sponsor supporting our lifesaving work.
